1 Red Drill

Shots: 2
Area: Black Pocket

Put 1 red in the middle of the direct line between the pink and black as shown. Proceed to take a color after the red. You can place the cue ball wherever you like and start the drill.

Canon drills

"A cannon is a type of shot in snooker that results from striking the cue ball so that it hits, in any order, the other cue ball and the red ball on the same shot."

Cannon above the black

Place balls as shown. Proceed to take a color with each red until all reds are gone. You can place the cue ball wherever you like and start the drill.

Safety shot drills

"An intentional defensive shot, the most common goal of which is to leave the opponent either no plausible shot at all, or at least a difficult one."

Classic safety shot

Rack the reds and place the cue ball anywhere you want in bulk area. Try to play a safety shot and let the cue ball ends up back to bulk area.

Snooker escaping drills

"Being snookered is a situation that a preferred object ball cannot be played directly in a straight line by normal cueing. It most commonly means that the object ball cannot be hit, because it is hidden by another ball or, more rarely, the knuckle of a pocket (see corner-hooked)."

Escape snooker with nearby red (near cushion)
